HANDLING
The animal handling workshop is organised to provide a basic training for the animal users as well as animal researchers. This is essential as personnel in this line should be well versed in animal health, nutrition, handling, and restraining as well as animal care. The procedure to conduct animal study should be according to the standard of animal ethics.
Topics covered will include:

Rules and regulations governing the use of research animals

Basic animal care procedure

Basic anatomy and physiology of rodent.

Rodent handling and restraining, as well as techniques such as administering injections.
The workshop includes lecture, demonstrations, and hands-on learning.
